Cosmetic Tattooing

Swelling can be normal, especially for lip blush tattoo and eyeliner enhancement
Intense colour immediately after treatment ink fades by 20%-40% so it will feel intense for the first week
Dryness/flaking after day 4-10, this is why planning when you get your initial tattoo is extremely important. You need to be able to follow the aftercare perfectly (eg. not wearing makeup for the correct amount of time) See the after section for more timeframes around each area.
Some ink will fall out post the first treatment, this is why a touch up treatment is required
The tones of ink will change, so don’t worry if your results are not exactly correct in the beginning. We precisely match your undertone and it fades and settles to the correct colour
Results lasts between 18-24 months depending the skin type and how well they are looked after. All touch up appointments must be within 4-12 weeks and no later, or a full appointment will be needed

Keep the area dry for 7 - 10 days, no water, no swimming/saunas.
Applying the aftercare balm every hour for 5-7 days is vital, for even healing of the ink. You will be given this on the day. It is important to keep the area clean and not use your fingers to apply to cream. You will be given everything you need in your aftercare bag.
Never pick any peeling skin/flaking colour off. Picking any flaking skin may knock out the ink prematurely. This may result in the new tattoo not healing evenly.
No sweating for 5 days. This includes exercise if it is going to make you sweat. Sweating will open up your pores and can risk colour not healing consistently, which can result in patchy ink and risk infection.
Avoid AHA/BHA acids, peels, facials, or vitamin A's as they can lighten your tattoo. This includes glycolic, lactic, salicylic, citric, mandelic acid(s) or Retinol/Vitamin A's.
No exfoliating around or near the area for 2 - 4 weeks.
Avoid any facials for 2 weeks.
No injectables near the area for 4 weeks.
No makeup on the tattooed area for 1 week. *Important* Please throw out old eyeliners, mascara, lip liners as reusing these old products on fresh skin can cause infection.
Avoid excessive sun exposure for 10 days. Wear SPF and even a cap to cover all new tattooed areas if you’re going to be outdoors for the first 10 days.
Touch up's. This must be done no sooner than 5 weeks post treatment. - This must be completed no longer than 13 weeks post initial appointment.

Using Microblading to create beautiful hair strokes, this technique mimics natural hairs, resulting in a soft look that people often can’t detect as cosmetic tattooing.
Within the popular Combination Brows technique, microblading is often done through the front sectionof the brows. Ombré brows also utilises microblading techniques through the middle and tails of the brow for more colour saturation.
Ideal for:
Anyone wanting a natural look, fuller brows, anyone wanting to wear less makeup.
This gives a very natural result or is great for a younger skin type with already full brows that just want to fill minor gaps.
Adding into combination techniques through the front of the brow
This technique is not suited to ageing skin types. If you have mature skin or gaps in the brows, please book for Combination Brow as this will fill gaps and give you a natural result.
-
Ombré brows give a more filled in look. The tails appear darker, with the colour fading toward the beginning of the brow for more of a pencilled in or makeup type look. While still mainintaing a soft look through the front of the brow, this treatment will have you saying goodbye to makeup! Wake up feeling put together, every morning.
Ideal for:
Anyone who fills their brows in daily
Gappy brows
All skin types
Anyone who wants a gradient of colour throughout the brows
-
Powder Brows is the technique with the most amount of colour used during tattooing. It uses the Ombré technique, with less of a natural gradient through the front of the brow. This results in a beautiful saturation of colour from the front of the brow, all the way to the tail.
Ideal for:
Anyone wanting a full look
Anyone who wants to wake up with a full brow every daily
Anyone who wears makeup often
Anyone that likes a dramatic brow
All skin types
-
This is the most common technique of brow tattooing. With a mixture of feather brow techniques through the front of the brows, to create hair-like strokes, the brow is finished with Ombré techniques through the arch and tail of the brow.
Ideal for:
All skin types
Anyone can have this technique, which is why it is the most popular.

Previous tattoo from another artist:
Please book a free consultation to discuss this, as whether we can treat the area will depend on the quality of existing tattoo.
Some work can be covered, worked on, and even colour corrected or neutralised, but in some cases previous tattoo will to be removed with saline or laser tattoo removal prior to treatment.
Cosmetic tattoo does fade and change colour over time. If you like the shape of a tattoo but not the colour it’s faded to, we can fix this. If the tattoo throws blue/grey or pink/salmon we can colour correct this.
