Post-Treatment Care
To achieve the best results from your cosmetic tattoo, follow these essential aftercare instructions:
Keep the Area Dry: For 7-10 days, avoid water exposure, swimming, and saunas.
Aftercare Balm: Apply the provided aftercare balm every hour for 5-7 days. It's crucial for even healing. Remember to use a clean tool, not your fingers, to apply.
No Picking: Avoid picking at any peeling skin or flaking color to prevent uneven healing.
Avoid Sweating: Refrain from activities that induce sweating for 5 days. This includes intense exercise.
Skip Exfoliants: Avoid AHA/BHA acids, peels, facials, or Vitamin A products, as they can lighten your tattoo.
No Exfoliating: Do not exfoliate around the treated area for 2-4 weeks.
Facials: Avoid facials for 2 weeks post-treatment.
Injectables: No injectables near the tattooed area for 4 weeks.
Makeup: Do not apply makeup on the tattooed area for 1 week. Dispose of old makeup products to prevent infection.
Sun Protection: Limit sun exposure for 10 days. Use SPF and consider wearing a cap when outdoors.
Touch-Ups: Touch-ups can be scheduled no sooner than 5 weeks and no later than 13 weeks after the initial treatment.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your tattoo heals beautifully. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.
